Make a Difference with The STEM Connection!

Looking for a way you can use your time and talents to make an impact in the lives of children now and in the future? The STEM Connection has various ways you can help, including assembling STEM kits or doing administrative tasks in the barn, painting picnic tables or other work around the farm, speaking with youth about your own STEM journey, or serving on a TSC committee or board. Volunteer opportunities are available for most ages, both as individuals and in groups.

Youth volunteering - ages 8 and up with a family or a youth group for drop-in or take-home projects. Check out our STEM Future Leaders program for 6th grade and up, which incorporates volunteering with leadership development and deeper STEM understanding.
Corporate groups, family groups, social groups, youth groups - project-based volunteering that provides STEM Family Kits to families all over Indiana or outdoor improvements at the farm.
Individuals - join any of the opportunities above or, if you have time during the TSC workday (M-F, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm), join us in the office to prep materials, update inventory, do data entry or other projects tailored to your skills.
TSC Board & Committee Members - the TSC board of directors is always interested in getting to know STEM enthusiasts who may have the desire and ability to join a board-level committee.
